FAQ

Is my first degree adequate for an admission in Medical Systems Engineering?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give a general answer to this question. The admission requirement is a Bachelor degree in medical technology, electrical engineering, information technology, computer science or a comparable technical degree with a grade of at least "good" (up to 2.4 in the German academic grading system). In addition, the degree should have a fixed minimum number of CPs in various fields. An overview of this amount of CP can be found in the current study regulations. It should also be noted that final admission is based on individual decisions of the examination committee.

Do I need a proof of language proficiency for the application?

As the programme is taught in English, a proof of English language skills is mandatory. With the exception of applicants from Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the USA whose native language is English, all applicants must present a language certificate even if English is the official language in other countries.
Proof of English courses attended at other universities will not be accepted.
Further information are available on this website.
